What happens with all your samples when you leave?

Hello,
All our samples are inventoried and carefully packed up to send back to universities in the States. Some are going with Mike to CU, others with Collin and Yo back to OSU, and the remainder with Christine and Heidi to MSU. Once the samples arrive back in the States further tests are run on them, which may include shipping and testing by other universities or organizations. 
We began the packing up process out at Lake Fryxell. There are some samples that need no processing or preparing while on the Ice and having them all packed up makes it easier on us when it comes towards the end of the expedition.
