Response to all the classes at Zilker Elementary! Hi everybody! I miss all of you so much and hope you are having an excellent time in school! I am still in Puenta Arenas, Chile but today we do set sail at 1500. Do you know what time 1500 would be in "regular" time? Mrs. Ogren can help with that. I am very excited about the ship actually moving today!
Answers to questions:
I have not actually seen many animals yet-- just a lot of stray dogs, but hopefully that will change soon.
It does rain or drizzle pretty much everyday and yesterday it was very cold and rainy the entire day.
I did have a couple of bites on the Chile nachos-- not so bad but not near as good as Texas nachos!
I don't know the exact temp. of the water here, but you should have somebody look it up on the computer!
I will be sending pics of the Palmer today! It is huge and very cool!
The streets in Chile are not as crowded as NYC, but everybody does walk a lot.
I also will start sending you my lat. and long. measurements today, you should keep track on the big map that is rolled up on the chalkboard ledge in our classroom!
Finally, I have been looking for an awesome soccer ball it will be a surprise if I bring one back! Be good!
