Drake Passage Opening

Hello,

I was wondering why the 12 hour shift that you were assigned from 12 noon to 12 midnight was the best for observations and research. Why is it better than any other time frame?

Rory,
Thanks for your question. My shift might be better for observations and research just because it is during the most daylight hours. Usually, scientists and crew prefer to work in the daylight, it makes it easier for everybody involved.
