Hi, this is Josh Webb from your IB Environmental Systems class. Are Drumlins only being formed in Iceland currently? Or are there other locations around the globe that they are being currently formed? And if they are forming in other places, why choose the drumlins in Iceland to research?

Hi Josh,GREAT questions.
Currently, the only known active drumlin field in the world is here, at
Mulajokull. That is why Dr. Iverson and Dr. Hooyer have chosen to do
their research here. Drumlins can be found all over the northern
hemisphere as a result of the last ice age, however, I am currently
typing this message in the middle of the only known place on Earth where
new drumlins are being formed. :)
Looking forward to having you in class Josh!
