hi my name is Ricky and i am a student of Jillian Worssam's and i have a question for you. My question is how deep is the ice in Kodiak?

Ricky- I was at Kodiak at the beginning of the trip and there was no ice. Now we are in thick ice over a meter in depth. The ship has a hard time cutting through the ice. It backs up and rams the ice when it gets stuck. Thanks for following along. - Ms. Wheeler
