Ecosystem Study of the Chukchi Shoal

We have a few questions:

  1. Will you get to ride in any of the helicoptors that land on the ship?

  2. How was a salmon taco? (Jon Christian LOVES salmon)

  3. How cold will it get there? (Ben)

  4. Do you know about the rover Curiosity that lands on Mars tonight at 1:30 AM? We are trying to stay up to see it.

  5. Will you be back in time for the start of school? (Ben)

We all are excited to follow your adventure. I (Jennifer Allen) LOVED seeing the dog race in your Feb expedition.

Hello all-
I love the questions.
1. I will get to ride in a helicopter when the expeditionis over. We will fly off the ship to the northernest town in Alaska, Barrow.
2. Anything salmon in alaska is fabulous.
3. So far it as been warm. I tink we may get some colder weather in the Chukchi Sea. They say it can be like winters in Maryland
4. I hope you saw the Rover land. I did get to see a reply. Connections on the ship are very slow.
5. I will miss the first day or two of school but I will be back soon.
