Hi Deanna, Enjoying your journals! I did the tour of the icebreaker Amundsen while it was docked in Montreal. I really liked seeing the moon pool where they could deploy CTDs from on the boat. Is there a moon pool on the Healy? I noticed the CTD rosette that you showed was deployed from the side. How do they decide when to use the moon pool and when to just deploy from the side of the boat? Can you get me some images and any specifications on the moon pool for the Healy? I want to have my engineering students design a watercraft with a moon pool and would appreciate any background that you can provide.
