Hey Mr.wood how have you been.Just asking are the kenyanite crystals covered whith any thing when you pick them up like lava or something ???

Kevin,
Good question again.  First, I was wrong in calling the crystals an old name that no longer applies.  They are called anorthoclase phonolite crystals.  That is tougher to say.  Some of the crystals do have extra pieces of volcanic glass and sulfur deposites on them.  Most are just a little worn on the outside.
