Hey Mr. Wood,

I have a question that has been bothering me for a while. What are kenyanite crystals made out of? You might of mentioned this in class but I don't remember.

Hello Matthew,
I have made a small mistake.  The name Kenyanite is an older term that is not used any longer.  They are now referred to as anothoclase phonolite crystals.  What they are made of is a good question but it would take me a long time to answer.  They are a pretty special combination of minerals and compounds found in a lot of rocks such as calcium, Potassium, and Sodium.  I will know more when I return,
Cheers,
Mr. Wood
