hey mr. wood. i saw u on tv and i heard ur story about antarctica. i wanted to send u emails while you were there but i didnt have time. im very intrested about mt. erubus. did mt erubus erupt alot when u were there. please reply.

Hello Lilly,Thanks for the note. Even though I am home again, I will still be avilable to answer questions. When we were on Mt. Erebus is didn't really have any exciting activity. There was the occational gas bubble that would burst and throw some material up out of the lake. If you look at the journal entries, there is a short movie of the lake that shows one of the bubbles. The movie is made from photos that are taken 10 seconds apart, so it looks a bit choppy. Anyway, feel free to ask questions at any time.
