Lello Mr. Wood, Victor here. I was just wondering how the CAT scans went, and whether if it was successful. If it was, was it what you and the team hypothesized?. Also, what is the worst weather you've been in during this trip to Antarctica, including temperature and climate. Last but not least, has Erebus erupted during the trip?

Thanks, Victor.

Hello Victor,
The scan went very well we think!  It will be some time before the data can be looked at and put together.  The worst weather was over Christmas when the windchill was -84 degrees!  My nose got a bit of frostbite!  No big eruptios yet!
Cheers,
Mr. Wood

Glad to hear that the scan went well. Will you and the team be doing the scan, or outside volcanologists? Anyways, wish you a safe and comfortable trip home. Thanks =P

Victor,
Yes the scan is finished but we will be going through the data to make the pictures.  It will take some time.  I hope to be in class when you present your Erebus report.  Can't wait!
Cheers,
Mr. Wood
