Dear Mr. Wood,

I've seen a lot of pictures of you in Antarctica, including the ones of my flag and Tommy, who looks pretty content in Anarctica(he looks sooo cute!)  From your info, I can see that Erebus is an explosive volcano, right?  How often does it have a dramatic\explosive eruption?  Also, I've already put my copy of the flag on my bedroom wall.  It adds just the right touch to my room.

Are you done with those seismometers yet?  I saw a picture of one in class when Mr. Johnson was sharing your photos with us.

Have you met any new penguin friends yet?  If you do, take a good picture!

Where is your tent located and how often do you go to McMurdo Station while in Antarctica?  What really happens at McMurdo?  Is it near any other stations?

HAPPY HOLIDAYS! Smile

Hello Michelle,Lots of questions!  I'm glad to hear you like the photos of Tommy and your flag!  I will take some more to bring back.  Look at the last journal entry that I just put up.  It lets you know where we are right now with the experiment.  We left McMurdo two weeks ago and we will not be back before the new year.
Cheers,
Mr. Wood
