John how cold is it out in antarctica? Is it below freezing? Mr. Wood's is it fun studying volcanoes or dangerous?

Hello Cameron,
Thank you for the questions.  At our camp on Mt. Erebus the temperature will be around -20 degrees F during the summer.  It's not too bad if the wind is calm.  Working on volcanoes is both fun and dangerous as you can imagine!  You never know what is going to happen, but you also find things, like crystals and volcanic bombs that are very interesting.
