Mr. Martin I doubt you get Sports Illustrated on Lake E, but if you did you would see the story about Evan Lysacek, a male figure skater. And the picture of him wearing a tux, just a tux and nothing frilly or feminine. Maybe know you will be willing to skate on the ice at Lake E.

Next time, please post your name so I know who is writing... cleary this is a student or former student who has heard my talk about using figure skaters to learn about ocean tides! :) Where I have been on the lake, figure skating is out... there are snow drifts 1-2 meters high covering most of the lake ice. Our ice engineer traveled out to a distant part of the lake this morning and he reported a large area (several kilometers long) that was snow free and very smooth, but most of the lake is covered with the hard drifted snow that is more suited for igloo building than skating!
