Mr Martin,

Can you tell us a bit about the sunlight up there in Fairbanks this time of year? What are the rise and set times? How high does the sun get in the sky? What does low angle sun look like?

Stay Warm!

Ms. Ward,
Thanks for the question... I was surprised by this one... Sun rise was around 8 am and sunset about 6 pm (Alaska time which is 4 hours behind EST) The sun never got high in the sky... in the middle of the day it looked like it does here in central NC about 4 in the afternoon this time of year... that is of course when we saw the sun.   The end of our week in Fairbanks we had lots of snow!  So it looked a lot like NC when I just got home today!
Take care and stay warm.
