Mr. Martin, We were wondering if you know what happened to the meteor and where is it located?

Another great question... one that many people would like to answer! We think that the meteorite may have exploded on impact. So far no one has found any fragments of the actual meteorite.
As a cool side note, yesterday when I was on the drill rig, we looked at some of the sediments under a microscope. Pavel, one of the lead scientists found a "micro-sphereule" these are little spheres of melted rock that dropped back down to the earth after the impact melted the surrounding rock.
I will let you know if we find any more.
