How do you and the team plan on celebrating the New Year?

We spent the day of New Year's Eve working in the field. That evening, when we got back, Maurice had prepared a very nice meal of steaks, mashed potatoes, and gravy. January 31st is also Perry's birthday, so we started the day with pancakes and sang a round of "Happy Birthday". Instead of a cake, Perry had fried blueberry turnovers after dinner. None of us managed to stay up until midnight because we were exhausted from our day in the field. So, while it was a memorable day with respect to our location, it wasn't celebrated in a way that most people would think of traditionally.
