Glacial History in Antarctica

From what I've read/seen in the Journals, it's nicer there than in WYO! deb

Deb, from what I've heard, you're absolutely right! When I interviewed for this position, they asked how well I dealt with the wind. So far, out of almost four weeks in the field, we've only had three real days of wind. I don't think Antarctica has really begun to show me her true nature, but I'm glad of that!
