Do Galciers have an average speed? And if so then does it very by regions, or is the number more of a constant? 5/2

Since Glaciers move so slowly how do you calculate their speed? 5/3

what is the average depth of a common glacier? 5/5

How many quakes take place on a glacier on average?5/9

What can the information found about a glacier tell us about our climate?5/10

you can stick a marker on the glacier and watch it move, if you anchor the other side to rock you can pull a string out of thing that looks like a tape measure, it pulls a resistor and changes the resistance the longer it gets.I think this is an average glacier, it is 600 feet, but others go to 2 miles.
There are many many quakes on average, but they are all very small, not like big earthquakes.
climate change can be found by core sampling, and looking at isotopes of oxygen... do this enough and compare around the world and you see a pattern.
