How many types of glaciers are there?

glaciers are categorized by area and by temperature... some are temperate, meaning they have the same temp throughout.. some are polar, being colder at the top than the bottom, some are located in valleys, some on alpine mountains... some empty to fjords like this one. lots of different classifications.
