How wide/tall are the tunnels underneith the glacier?

Hi, now those are interesting questions. The website http://www.greenpacks.org/2009/04/17/worlds-7-largest-glaciers-by-contin... has a list of largest glaciers. In Antarctica I think you find the largest...the smallest I would think is an Alpine glacier, or just a small bit of ice on top of a mountain. the weather warming causes the top to melt and trickle down to the bottom which causes more sliding. the glacier always disappears, either through melting or sublimation or by calving into an ocean, it has to, it is by definition a slowly moving piece of ice, and this has to go somewhere.
