We are happy the bears are alive. Thank you for not eating them! They are so cute.

Jackie: If the inside of the glacier is melting, where does all the water go?

Caleb: How much water is created naturally each day from the glacier?

Jose: What is the largest glacier you have ever seen?

Clara: When you go outside of the tunnel do you slip and do you have warm enough clothes? Did you pack snow clothes and rubber boots for the bears?

Emma: Have you seen any animals yet?

It is 70 degrees here today. Warm enough to melt a bear>>>>> Stay warm

Jackie, the water goes down the tunnels to the powerplant, or it goes inbetween rocks and comes out as waterfalls.Caleb, wow, that is a big question, there is a lot of water being produced, in the summer it really begins to melt, to get an idea, the tunnel where I am at will be a roaring river soon. and that is just one tunnel.
Jose, the largest glaciers I have ever seen were in Antarctica, there you will see giant ice shelfs feed by glaciers that are miles and miles across.
Clara, I do not think bears need boots? do you? I do. Inside mostly, because there is so much water everywhere.
Emma, no animals down here, but someone found a lemming that got smushed in the ice awhile ago.
melting bears! no way.... that warm? I am shivering from working in the cold water. take care, mr lampert
