Hello Mr. Lampert!!

We heard about your amazing experience and my students just really wanted to write. Our school is located at the base of Pilot Butte in Bend, OR. We are a technology school--so we have access to laptops. They have a lot of questions for you--some scientific, some more personal. Thank you so much for taking the time to respond to us. What is the average tempature underneth the glacier? Jon, Tae, and Dan

great question, the temperature is right at freezing here under the glacier, other glaciers like in Antarctica are much cooler, but at the bottom they tend to warm up a bit.
