Hi,

Have you all made it to camp?  What are the conditions?  Do you still have lots of snow on the ground?  Anchorage is lovely and green, and I'm wondering if you all are getting at least sunny weather.

Hi Tracy,

 

Ann has made it to camp. She called me from her satellite phone a few days ago, with a few requests. One important need, 4 water filter elements, took a day to locate. I am expecting to receive them in the mail today. She also requested cinnamon powder. It's a good thing I haven't left yet.We both agreed that it could be very useful for me to be a few weeks behind them, for the good reason that I could pick up items that did not make it there. Imagine going for two months without cinnamon, let alone having to boil water for 6-12 people. I leave in three days, and expect to be able to deliver these very important items to the field camp.
