I'm loving the pictures and stories. I'm glad to know that Whisper lites work in the cold - have you gotten any major fire balls out of them yet?

If you see the NM Tech guys, tell them hi from an old Tech alum (1979).

I have a freshman student who is sure that the numbers on sea level rise from melting of the ice caps are all wrong. We'll be doing some math in class to convert km3 of ice into meters of water, but if you meet anyone down there who could provide some local insight and information on the topic, it would be good to hear back. I'm pretty sure the student also has his doubts about climate change as well . . .

Take care and don't dig out all of the snow and ice so there's none left for me.

Hi Mike!Yes, Whisper lites are great stoves, I haven't seen any fire balls yet!
I will try to stop by to see the NM Tech group. A friend of mine worked
with them in years past, so I was hoping to meet them anyways!
I believe I know of a project that is working on research that relates
to sea level rise! I will look into it and get back to you--this is
very important to help your students (and others) understand why
scientists are concerned with this issue.
I'll leave some snow and ice here for you!
Sincerely,
Michelle
