Do any of the people that you work with, live on Antarctica permanently?

Are there any children there?

Hello!Nobody permanently lives on Antarctica. There are people, however, who
stay for the winter and possibly the whole year. A lot of people here
are staying for the entire summer season which is from early October to
February.
It's funny you ask about children, because a friend was just commenting
on the fact that you don't see children or pets down here. There will
be a rare child-sighting if a tourist group comes through town. I have
yet to see any children, aside from virtually.
