what do you guys miss the most? is it tv, movie theaters, heat or groshery stores.

Or for the ladies of polartrec do you miss shoping, getting mannypedies?

Hello!I think everyone may miss different things about home (this is a great question to ask people though--I will definitely start investigating!) I miss my friends, family and getting to see my students every day. That is the hardest thing for me. I honestly do not miss t.v. or movies. We had television at McMurdo, and there are movies readily available both at McMurdo and at the South Pole. Even so, I rarely have time to watch t.v. or movies, and have not missed it. Heat is another interesting thing--I am often hot inside because there is plenty of heat inside the buildings. This opinion may change when I'm out at the AGO site though! I do sometimes which I could go to the grocery store or a restaurant, but the food has been great and I do NOT miss cooking or washing dishes!
Perhaps my opinions on this will change when I go to the AGO site, but for now, I'm pretty content except for missing family, friends and students!
