Hi Ann! As you go through the job of packing and re-packing for the expedition, what kind of "comfort" items are you packing for yourself? Lollie

Hi Lollie, 
The only comfort items I brought were a goose down large travel pillow and a sleep sac instead of the sheets on the beds at McMurdo.  It also doubles as a blanket but Big Red functions as a thermal blanket, pillow, comforter and main attire for the next several weeks.   I also brought my own light weight fleece shirts.   My computer to stay in touch would be the only other item of convenience and comfort.
