Are there any eskimos there?

Dear Mrs. Green's class, 
No, there are not any eskimos here.  There is not a sufficient food supply available to support life.  In addition, the winter is totally dark and extremely cold, therefore supporting life is not possible.  The only people that reside on the continent for any time are researchers and station employees.  Very few will winter over, as there is no way off of the continent in the winter months.
