Hello Ann,
It sounds like you made it finally down to Antarctica. That is just awesome!. I, as the former warm-water research scientist still think that it is the greatest live laboratory in the world, and I am looking forward to hear and see your journal from Antarctica. Let us know what the final temperature was once you arrived... we just had a 'cold-front' coming through Texas, and the temperature dropped to 40 degrees Fahrenheit in the Dallas region ...
