Why are the penguins on land and not living on ice?...Also why do they swim to Brazil if it is mostly hot over there? Thanks

Great question. These penguins are adapted to live in warmer climates. There's actually quite a few penguins that live on South America and
they don't have all the adaptations that true Antarctic penguins have.
Magellanic penguins spend their whole lives near South America. There's
are other species that spend their whole lives near the bottom of
Africa. Hopefully, I'll get to see more penguins that are adapted to
the cold weather of Antarctica soon and there will probably be snow in
those pictures. We're just about to reach the Antarctic peninsula tonight!
