Hey, Ms.Lancaster!

I saw your journal entry about penguins, and i saw that they weren't on ice!?

Why do penguins go on land, were there's dirt and plants, if were they live is in the water and ice?

These penguins are adapted to live in warmer climates. There's actuallyquite a few penguins that live on South America and they don't have all
the adaptations that true Antarctic penguins have. Magellanic penguins
spend their whole lives near South America. Even these penguins go out
and hunt for food every day in the water. When they are taking care of
their baby penguins, they spend a lot more time on land.
