One of the most exciting things for me is seeing how science actuallyworks. Since I never worked in a lab, I never was able to see what
"science" looked like in the field. This is a really interdisciplinary
cruise with lots of scientists and researchers from a lot of different
fields. It's amazing to see how they organize and plan so that all of
the research is able to get done without anyone stepping on each other's
toes.
