Dear Bill, I am creating a slide show/lecture on global warming and in my section on technological advances would like to quote your blog entry "We were happy to see a muddy piston core return from its nearly 4-mile round trip to the sea floor and back. The mud far up its sides indicated that we got good penetration, as did the 9500-lb pull needed to get the coring rig out of the muddy bottom suction and on its way back." and show the accompanying photo. Since you have no idea who I am and may prefer not to give permission, I can paint a similar picture and rephrase, but I like the idea of including "the real thing." I'd give you credit. I very much enjoyed your trip via words and pictures. Thanks, Ann
