I was wondering what is killing the Musk Oxen by the stream?

The muskoxen were actually killed by hunters and their remains disposed of in the land fill. The first full day we spent here, we encountered two muskox heads in the middle of the town that hunters had saved as a prize. One was even set atop a roof! The hooves and bones are used as chew toys for the sled dogs in Kangerlussuaq. Samantha Montoya
