have you seen any animals?

The Kurils are a great place to see wildlife!  We saw everything from the tiniest of voles and storm petrels, all the way up to sperm whales and killer whales.  And lots of stuff in between:  foxes, harbor seals, fur seals, sea lions, albatrosses, and fulmars.  We didn't see any brown bears this year, but certainly saw them in our first two field seasons!
