Ooo!  I know!  I know!  You measured the distance between two opposite corners of the grid! And if the grid is square, the distance should come out to 2 meters times the sq root of 2.  Can I have a glass float, now?

Jesse Well, fine, but while 2 times the square root of two IS an exact number and I CAN draw a line exactly that length....it is not so marked on my tape measure...... So what do I do now!?
I WILL bring you a glass float, but you have to tell me how many you set "free" on Kunashir.... Misty

Chuck I am glad that you continue to follow along with my world exploits! I appreciate the "old coots"!
What sort of science question did you have in mind? And why do you think that the one I had already put out there was prohibited to "old coots"? I don't think that I have *really* gotten a good answer to it yet.... :) It is quite possible that my most dedicated followers could earn a glass float just for being so, well, dedicated!
