how is docter etnier doing? Kiss

Misty Nikula

The following is a reply to Rowan from Dr. Michael Etnier: Hey Rowan, I'm doing pretty well. We haven't had much luck so far finding faunal (animal bone) remains, so there hasn't been much for me to work with. Until today. Today we opened up two excavation units that connect with the really rich midden deposit we excavated last year (and the main reason we returned here this year). So now I've really got my work cut out for me: I'm in charge of both excavation units (one is 1 m X 2 m, and the other is 1 m x 1 m). And we have to get them completely excavated and well-documented in just 3 days!!! Other than work stuff, I'm doing quite well. This is a really beautiful part of the world, and I consider myself incredibly lucky to be here! The field season will be over too quickly. But then I get to come back home to beautiful Bellingham!
