It is very exciting to hear that someone like you is going somewhere outside of their comfort zone to do something that will help the inhabits of Antarctica. Have you ever had an experience where you discover something new that know one else has seen yet or very few have seen?

Hello Mike!
That's an interesting question! I haven't "discovered" anything new, but I certainly have been to places that not many folks have been to - that is an amazing feeling! For instance, how many people have been under the sea ice at Turtle Rock in Antarctica and swum with Weddell seals? Although it's not "new" to the world, it's new to me. I feel VERY fortunate to have such opportunities and experiences! Having a mother Weddell seal and her pup swim right up to me - even nudge me was a feeling I will never forget!
Thanks for checking in!
Cheers,
Robin
