Hello Nicole!
Thanks for checking in! I have not yet started "officially" packing yet, but I have a list going so that when the time comes, I won't forget anything! I will need to take personal clothing - warm fleece, long underwear, hats and gloves! I also will pack any personal items such as shampoo - for the occasional "shower", toothpaste, etc. The main concern I have is packing all the items I need for SCUBA diving. I have to bring my own dry suit, fins, mask, and undergarments, suit repair kit, proper hoses for connecting to the SCUBA gear in Antarctica, etc. Luckily, I don't have to take SCUBA tanks, regulator, or a weight belt; those items are already in Antarctica!
Actually, I should clarify.... I have already packed and shipped a robot that we built to do some experiments in Antarctica. It is on its way!
Please say hello to Mrs. Eubanks for me! Keep in touch! The fun is about to begin!
Cheers,
Robin
