Wow!

The robot building looks like an absolute blast! Are you are your students trying to finish the robot this school year, or will you be working with the same group to complete the project next year before your expedition?

Looking forward to continued progress reports and hearing about the success. You guys will have to come up with a clever acronym for your robot... :)

Hello Kristin, thanks for your interest in our robot project! To answer your question, we hope to have the robot up and running and undergoing testing in less than two weeks. The ocean water is warming up (we plan on swimming with the robot!) and we are hoping to have it in the water soon! Our goal is to have it finished before this school year ends, but we may add some probe-ware to it in the fall with the new 8th graders! We are also open to suggestions for acronyms/names.
