Hi Jim, It looks like you are doing well in Barrow! Do you need to worry about any polar bears on the tundra this time of year? If so, do you take one of Inupiaq guides with you from BASC? Enjoy, Betsy

Betsy, Thanks for asking your questions! Yes, we are always on the lookout for a wayward bear. Usually this time of year, it is pretty safe. We are dealing with a different group than BASC this year, but yes we are in constant radio contact in case we spot a bear. No we do not take someone out on a daily basis.If you have any further questions, let me know!
