Microorganisms in Antarctic Glacier Ice

how much co2 is in the glacier that is some thing i think we should know.....

Thanks for the question. Here is what my team had to say: 
There is the same amount of carbon dioxide in the ice as there was in the atmosphere when the ice formed. It is about 200 - 300 ppm depending on the age of the ice. This is less carbon dioxide than in the atmosphere today.
