Hey Lindsay!!

One of my teammates posted a picture of that weather bulletin. I saw it Sat. night EST and wondered what it meant exactly. None of our weather people have ever described weather quite like that. Loved reading your latest journal entry!! So, now I know!! Glad you're there and doing well!! Keep up the good work!!

Hi Mrs. Cross, This is Patience's mom....how cool that you are there---and COLD!Wondering if you brought UnderArmor? What kind of things to you wear to keep warm? My son is in the navy and he mentiones the UnderArmor all the time. Blessings to you!

Hi Michele!I leave Oct. 29th and have already sent some gear on down. Trust me, I'll be packing for warmth--wool, silk, polypropelene, insulated work cargos, etc. I'll leave the Under Armour home for this trip. The laundry facilities are free, but you can't control the temperature. So, I've been told to leave the good stuff at home.
Be sure to follow my fellow PolarTREC teachers who are currently on expedition--Ms Galvan (Polar Bear Response to Sea Ice Loss) and Ms. Knippenberg (Microorganisms in Antarctic Glacier Ice).
Feel free to check out our site (Antarctic Under Sea ROV) and post questions or comments under our Ask The Team tab!!
 Smiles!
