Hi Jill! It seems you are enjoying Kaktovik. I was lucky enough to visit there back in 1990, and I'm sure a lot has changed since then. Is the only fresh water supply still that small lagoon on the island? Are they generating any of their own electricity (wind power, perhaps?), or does it all still come from diesel generators? Please can you tell us a little about the community itself - thanks!
