Hi Haylee and Ashley from Mr. Beals Earth Science Class, Thanks for checking in about my expedition. Good question about what comes next for a PolarTREC teacher. I don't know the exact answer for that one yet. One thing that is certain is that I will continue to try and learn more cool stuff to bring back to my students and to share with other students like you.
What's surprising is that last summer (2007) I was actually out in MT, and yes I was actually in Billings!! I was visiting with some folks from the Crow Nation while also visiting Pompeii's Pillar and the Little Bighorn Battlefield. I was very impressed with your area and the history that is all around you.  We also visited the gold mining of Nevada City and Virginia City. Once again, beautiful area with lots of interesting people, places, and events.
So, I hope to continue to travel and learn as much as I can. Are you asking your question with the hope that you can send Mr. Beal far away?
