Hi Ellen,
Hope all's well down there in VT. How are you hitting them, ready for the VT Amateur? The nearest golf course is about 500 miles away, down in Fairbanks. It's a long, wet, ride to get there.
 
Fun comes in different forms, tonight the most coolest fun ever was going out onto the tundra to band snowy owl chicks. Mom and Dad Snowy Owl were a little upset, but they accepted what we were doing.
 
Other than that, a little indoor soccer, a little writing, and some 4 wheeler rides to work. I might have to exercise for fun too!!
 
The kids in town hang-out, ride around on their 4 wheelers, and try to stay out of trouble. There's not a lot of trouble to find, some manage though.
 
Hope summer is going well, keep reading and hit a few well for me.

sure sounds like a once in a lifetime experience.  enjoy it all.  hitting them between raindrops.  amateur is the 2nd week of august so just hacking it still now.  all is good in vermont...hot, humid, and thundershowers are plentiful.  better than your chill though i guess.  it's been fun following though....keep up the good work and have a blast.   ellen

Thanks for following along Ellen. Lots of cool science ideas to discuss. Don't think about it now though, we'll have time later this summer.
Keep hacking around. All the lifting, shoveling, etc... is going to lead to my drives going farther than ever, .... farther into the woods that is.
We'll have to get out once this fall. Maybe find a few other CAES players. Wait, I better check with Julie first. Visit the 19th for me!!
