Hi Frank,

I find your expedition absolutely amazing. My department at school is named Earth Science & Anthropology. I passed your link on to the Anthropology teachers so they can follow your journey and they were equally amazed. We all agree that involving students and the community is ideal.

Only another PolarTREC teacher(going to Antarctica) would ask this: I don't recall reading about the food. How is it? Cathy Campbell is being fed very well! As my time approaches and I see how exciting your trips are, I begin to think about the basics!

Hi Jackie,
Hope you summer is going well. Thanks for sending my address over to your colleagues. Remind them, only easy questions!!
The food here is fine. I am spoiled at home with fresh vegetables, grilled meats, lots of fruit, local products, .... The joy of the food here is that I do not have to prep it, cook it, or clean-up after it. An important thing, after a long hard day in the field.
Keep having fun, enjoy your time at home. I look forward to catching up with your journal in the fall.
Best,
Frank
