Hi Frank,

Now that you have met Anne and know a little more about your expedition, what will you be doing to prepare yourself for the big trip to Barrow?

Hi Kristin, Thanks for the note. I really enjoyed meeting Anne and learning more about the project. The PolarTREC info to date has been quite helpful, I feel like I have the tech stuff figured out, (knock on computer), so my next step is to focus on the science side of things. In the next few journal entries, I am going to post info about the scientists we have met, and the work we have done with them. After that, I will go into more specific details about the project and the resources I will be using. Misty, another PolarTREC participant, has been a great resource as well. We'll be sharing ideas as I try and learn as much as I can before I come back up to AK in the summer.
