Hi Lisa! Great to see you in the pictures and video! loved your arctic jellyfish humor. After a couple of seasons of tracking big boats, it looks as if your vessel really moves along! About what is your top speed? I wonder what defines a boat as a boat, a vessel, or a ship? Sure looks tippy out there, does anyone ever clip into the railing, or do you just rely on hanging on? Thanks!

Hi Susan! Glad you are enjoying the videos-and yeah, couldn't help myself with the jellyfish!(:
It's a terrific boat. Captain happens to be sitting here and he said the top speed is 22 knots! I know it feels like we're surfing going down some of the swells. Nice to have a good engine to get us home as soon as possible after a long day. Unfortunately the weather's been pretty poor, with lots of wind and a new record rainfall up here, so we haven't been able to get out much. Hoping for tomorrow!
As far as the difference between a boat, a vessel and a ship...our vote is that it's all relative to what you happen to be in, although the Captain said there is a saying that, "you can put a boat on a ship, but you cannot put a ship on a boat".
Not sure that helps but even when you google the question you get quite a variety of answers!
Take care Susan, always so nice to hear from you and I hope your year has started off well!
